Platform Recording Failure

Issue Description
A user fails to manually enable platform recording on a live video pane of the eSpace IVS C/S client. When the user chooses Video > Server Recording and checks platform recording status, the user finds that the value of Plan execution state is No recording, as shown in Figure 4-13.

Handling Process
Step 1 Check whether a server disk is faulty.
1. Log in to the OMU portal of the server.
2. Choose Local Configuration > Local Disk, as shown in Figure 4-14.

3. Check disk status in the Disk status area.
 If a disk is abnormal, locate and rectify the disk fault and check whether the fault is rectified.
If the fault is rectified, no further action is required. If the fault persists, go to Step 2.
 If all disks are normal, go to the next step.
Step 2 Check whether RAID groups have been created on the server.
Check the RAID Groups area shown in Figure 4-14 for RAID groups.
 If RAID groups exist, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
 If there are no RAID groups, click Rebuild RAID Group to create one and go to the next step.
Step 3 Check whether the fault is rectified.
If the fault is rectified, no further action is required. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
Root Cause
 A server disk is faulty.
 The server is in initializing state, and no RAID group has been created.
