TE30 received random calls from random numbers

Publication Date:  2015-06-21 Views:  154 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
TE30 received random calls from random numbers ex: ( 1000 ,100 ,201 ,…) . and this error remained after reset.
Handling Process

First we should check the version of TEX0,if the version is before TEX0 V100R001C10SPC100,we need upgrade the software to TEX0 V100R001C10SPC100 or later , but we found the version is V100R001C10SPC100 so no need to upgrade , after that we asked our partner to provide us with the protocol that TE30 use and we found that TE30 use H.323 Protocol.

So we advise our customer to SSH the TE30 and run this command " mc EnableIPCall set off "

Root Cause

This issue is depending on the Protocol.

If the TEX0 has been registered with a SIP server, the anti-attack policy is automatically enabled. If the IP address of the remote device that makes an incoming call is not the IP address of the SIP server or the destination number of the incoming call is not the number of the TEX0, the TEX0 automatically shields the call.

If the TEX0 has not been registered with a SIP server, the anti-attack policy is disabled by default. To prevent the TEX0 from being harassed, manually enable the anti-attack policy by running the  " mc EnableIPCall set off command "

Solution
SSH the TE30 and run this command " mc EnableIPCall set off "
