Issue Description

In eLog server ,there are 2 alarms appeared ,see as below :

2015-04-01 23:29:14 MEX HWCM/4/TRAP: 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.10.2.1 configure changed: EventIndex=503,CommandSource=1,ConfigSource=3,ConfigDestination=2

2015-04-01 23:29:14 MEX %%01HWCM/4/TRAPLOG(l):  1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.10.2.0.1 configure changed:  EventIndex=503,CommandSource=1,ConfigSource=3,ConfigDestination=2.

The second one  is with  symbol “ %% “,but the first is  not ,both the alarms are about configuration change ,but why their format are different .

Solution

Actually they are different alarms :

the first one is trap alarms ,that means the message will be sent only after the “ snmp trap “  command is configured ,

For the second one , it is TRAPLOG (or syslog),after configuring the  “info-center loghost “ it can be displayed in eLog .

Alarm Message Format :
