Cannot find DCG information on the IVS client

Issue Description

Version: NVR6128 V100R001C30LGLE01SPC300

Issue Description: DCG service is running, but cannot add the Access service node on the IVS client.

Alarm Information

There is no DCG information in the Access service node.

 

Handling Process

1.       Restart the DCG service, issue still exists.

2.       Check the logs, and find that it gives error that dcg register scu fail. It means that there maybe something wrong with TBL_DCG_INFO.

3.       Check the TBL_DCG_INFO and find that this table is empty.

This command could show the table infor, su -c "psql -d ivs -U ivsadmin -c \"select * from TBL_DCG_INFO;\"" - postgres > /postgres.txt

4.       Insert the table with DCG information. The ID below differs from each NVR.

INSERT INTO tbl_dcg_info( id, dcg_code, dcg_name, dcg_pw, dcg_desc, cur_extern_sys_num,  max_extern_sys_num, cur_pu_num, max_pu_num)  VALUES (1, 'DCG351141550428'  , 'DCG001' , '7swHtf445t/xLl7UMfihbg==' , 'DCG001', 0, 128, 0, 128);

5.       restart the IVS client.

 

Root Cause

When install the NVR server, there is something wrong with DCG table.

Solution

 

When we find that the DCG table is empty, we could insert manually. Here is the command.

INSERT INTO tbl_dcg_info( id, dcg_code, dcg_name, dcg_pw, dcg_desc, cur_extern_sys_num,  max_extern_sys_num, cur_pu_num, max_pu_num)  VALUES (1, 'DCG351141550428'  , 'DCG001' , '7swHtf445t/xLl7UMfihbg==' , 'DCG001', 0, 128, 0, 128);

Suggestions

For internal module issue of NVR6128, here is my suggestion.

1 Check the service status.

2 Check the logs.

3 Check the database.
