BMR Recovery for the SUSE Client Fails and Error Message Cannot install default route Is Displayed

Issue Description
When the BMR is performed on a client that runs the SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 operating system, error message Cannot install default route is displayed. 

Handling Process
1.  Log in to the HDP3500E operating system.

2.  Modify the dhcpd.conf file.

   a. Run the vi /etc/dhcpd.conf command to edit the dhcpd.conf file.
   b. Press Insert. Set option routers and option broadcast-address to the IP address of the master server.

Example:

hdp3500e:/etc # vi /etc/dhcpd.conf
option routers 129.30.4.11;
option broadcast-address 129.30.4.11;
ddns-update-style none;
default-lease-time 14400;
subnet 129.30.0.0 netmask 255.255.0.0 {
  range 129.30.40.200 129.30.40.220;
  default-lease-time 14400;
  max-lease-time 172800;


   c. Press Esc to exit the editing mode.
   d. Enter :wq and press Enter to save and exit.

3.  Run the service dhcpd restart command to restart the DHCP service.

hdp3500e:~ # service dhcpd restart
Shutting down DHCP server                                            done
Starting DHCP server [chroot]                                        done
Root Cause
The master server and client for the BMR are on the same network segment and routing configuration is not required.
