Issue Description
Product and version: VTL6000 V100R003

If the SIR cluster is the target of post-deduplication IP replication, you cannot disable the SIR cluster and a message is displayed stating This cluster is a replication target. You cannot disable the cluster.
Handling Process
1.  Check whether the SIR cluster is associated with another server on the target end.

     a. In the navigation tree of the SIR Console, select the SIR cluster.
     b. In the function pane, click the Replication tab to check whether another server exists on the source end.
  • If yes, go to 2.
  • If no, keep the application environment unchanged and contact Huawei technical support.
2.  Disassociate the SIR cluster from the server on the source end.

    a. On the VTL Console, log in to the VTL server.
    b. Remove the VTL server from the target end.
    c. On the SIR Console, log in to the SIR cluster.
    d. Remove the SIR cluster from the target end.

3. Check whether the SIR cluster can be disabled.
  • If yes, the fault is rectified.
  • If no, keep the application environment unchanged and contact Huawei technical support.
Root Cause
Possible Causes:

The possible cause of this failure is that the SIR cluster is the target of IP replication.

If the SIR cluster is associated with other servers, the relevant configuration information is generated. For safety purpose, the SIR cluster can be disabled only after all its configuration information is deleted.
