License cross-connect capacity exceeds the license limit

Issue Description

Customer tried to create a 10GE LAN service between OSN8800 T16 and OSN8800 T32, the service failed to be created.

Error: The service capacity exceeds the license limit
Error Code: 43888

U2000 version: V100R009C00SPC301

NE version: V100R008C00SPC200

Handling Process

Check the license installed on iManager U2000.

  1. Log in to the U2000 Client.
  2. Choose Help > License Management > License Information (traditional style) from the main menu or select System Management in Application Center and choose License Management > License Information (application style) from the main menu.
  3. In the License Information dialog box that is displayed to view the condition of the license.

check the item OptiX OSN 8800, license quantity of OTN subracks (capacity of centralized cross-connections:360G) and its consuption:

Root Cause

The cross-connection capacity have reached the limit allowed in the U2000 license.

Solution

If the consuption have reached the limit allowed in the license, persuade customer to extend their cross-connection capacity by purchasing accordingly to the table below:
