Management access through SSH fails

Issue Description

SSH connection fail even while telnet and web connection is working properl version SECOSPACE USG2110-F (V300R001C10SPC500).

Customer configure SSH, firewall is reachable by ping, telnet and web gui management but ssh is failing.

1. Check the ssh configuration - aaa user defined with SSH service

2. VTY is configured to accept ssh and telnet 

Root Cause

checking configuration  i saw that RSA key is not created.

Solution

create the local key

 

<USG> system-view
[USG] rsa local-key-pair create
The key name will be: USG_Host
The range of public key size is (512 ~ 2048).                                  
NOTES: A key not longer than 1024 bits in the modulus may cause security risks.
       The generation of a key longer than 512 bits in the modulus may take seve
ral minutes.                                                                   
Input the bits in the modulus[default = 2048]:
