eSight cannot see the APs into eSight topology

Issue Description

Customer just add the AC6605 into eSight topology, it's able to synchronize properly with the NMS but the associated APs are not appearing into eSight topology.

Handling Process

The first operation i've tried to do is to synchronize AC6605 with eSight accordingly:

2. Second step is to check if customer is running WLAN license and if the resource threshold is not reach.

 

 

Root Cause

From V200R005 eSight will use SFTP protocol to communicate with eSight and get WLAN data. There is a large number of packets that need to be processed and using SNMP to carry all this data, it will burden the network element.

Since SFTP it's required, eSight will need to establish a secure connection with the AC6605. Since this connection was never attempted, the local keys are not available.

Solution

try to connect to eSight server from AC.
sftp xx.xx.xx.xx(eSight server ip) 31922  ,the username/password is admin/Changeme123
  

then the local keys will be generated and WLAN information will be able to reach eSight and APs will be properly discovered.
