RH1288 V3 iSCSI boot

Issue Description
In order to boot from iSCSI SAN device, you should be able to set-up this function on HBA bios.
Handling Process

Step 1:

Upgrade the NIC FW

Step 2power on the server with pulling out power cableand after about 30s pulling power cable in.

 

Step3go into  BIOS setup, and disable PXE as follow:

Step3: restart the server and past ‘Ctrl’ + ‘D’ to go into BIOS of pcie card. And set the option about ISCSI

Solution

Depend on HBA type, if don't have the iSCSI boot option, you have to upgrade the firmware.
