eSpace U1911 --- BMU with AD synchronization

Issue Description
the user have BMU and AD want to  syncronize them with each others  and some users cannot be fetched(syncronized) and the configuration from the the BMU side and AD are checked 
Alarm Information
Most of users on the AD are syncronized with the BMU but some cannot be found in the BMU
Handling Process

1.These four users do not configure in AD root directory,

Solution:- Please check the configuration of the AD root department path on BMU, make sure the four users are under the department.

 

2.BMU and AD  only sync the user under “Domain controllers Group”, but these four users group.

The  objectClass of user group is like: (will sync fail)


BMU and AD only support sync   users  under “organizationalUnit” of objectClass

 


Solution: create a new department ,set objectClass as “organizationalUnit” ,then move the four users to the new department

3.check the user from the AD side and make sure that there is no Illegal character like (@, & or #...) in the name or the department of the AD user

Root Cause

The Root Cause was that: there was Illegal character like (@, & or @...) on the department of the AD user 

Solution

the problem is that the account include Illegal character like (@,!,# and $)
Suggestions

try to make the fields of the AD users like (name , department etc....) donnot have Illegal character like (@,!,# and $)
