Calls issue from TE30 codec to TE mobile

Issue Description

TE30 Codecs that were correctly configured and had no calls issue towards any destination ( Codecs, TE mobile). Lately they can not make calls from codecs towards some mobile devices using TE Mobile application

Handling Process

- confirm that no network problems on both sides during affected call 

- ping test from the TE30 to TE mobile which is working on the same network and ping result was success 

- packet capture for affected call on TE30 side 

-after analyze the result we found some destination that TE30 fail to call are using sip However its preffered protocol to dial for point to point call is H323 

- after change this parameter on the TE30 web admin page the call working fine 

System Settings > Conference > Advanced Settings


Solution

- login to the TE30 web admin page 

- go to System Settings > Conference > Advanced Settings

- change the preferred protocol parammeter to sip or H323 as match the destination used protocol
