Cannot connect to any VM from TC

Issue Description


The situation reported is that for a period of 3 hours the FusionAccess (V1R6C10) could not see any virtual machines normally.  The state
of them all was “Unregistered” on the 3 enviroments they possess.  They informed the same as well

“The screen shows a Loading status and at the end it showed errors 410204 and 410208.”
“As VMs with such issues are  HUISPVWDV0552 and HUISPVWDV1328.

It recovery by itself after 2 hours.





Handling Process

1check the HDC log find out the login error is “AuthFail , Time CheckError”.





2, From the log at 23:59:59there is a time change, the time change to one hour ago.



3, Confirm at XX country the DST ends at 2/17, the time will change one hour ago.





Root Cause

The VM date is synchronized from AD, and the Linux infrastructure HDC VM is synchronized from the NTP  server conifigure, when the time change, the time difference between AD and HDC
is more than 30 minutes. The user can’t login. When the HDC finished
synchronizing time from NTP server and have the same time with AD. User can login VM.

Solution


If next time, before the time change,
please do as the following method, to cancel the time verification between HDC and VM/AD.


1, Login HDC server with putty.

2, cd /opt/HDC/tomcat/hdc/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes

      3, vi controller.properties


      4, modify “HDC.rest.hda.timeCheck”to 0


5, exit the “vi” mode


      6, Run the command to restart the HDC  service service  HDCService restart”

7, With the same method to change the configuration on other HDC VMs.
