Publication Date:  2018-04-11 Views:  90 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
The BSC version is V901R008C01SPC210 at a site. The BSC is configured with two OMUs during site deployment, and their operating status is displayed as Active abnormal.
Handling Process
Run the DSP OMU command to check the OMU IP address. The command output is as follows:

%%DSP OMU:;%%
RETCODE = 0  Execution succeeded.
OMU server state
-------------
Subrack No.  =  0
Slot No.  =  21
Computer name  =  OMU_21
Internal network fixed IP  =  80.168.3.50
External network fixed IP  =  10.15.145.52
Backup network IP  =  192.168.10.100
Operational state  =  Active normal
Version  =  XXXXXX
Subrack No.  =  0
Slot No.  =  23
Computer name  =  OMU_23
Internal network fixed IP   =  80.168.3.60
External network fixed IP  =  10.15.145.53
Backup network IP  =  192.168.10.100

The two OMUs are configured with the same backup network IP address.
Suggestions
The two OMUs are configured with the same backup network IP address, causing an IP address conflict. As a result, both of them work in active mode. To resolve this problem, the backup network IP addresses for the two OMUs must be changed to different ones but on the same network segment.
