NE80E-----OLT------ONT The NE80E functions as a service router (SR) and has multiple optical line terminals (OLTs) connected downstream. The OLTs have multiple optical network terminals (ONTs) connected upstream. The NE80E is enabled with Internet Protocol over Ethernet (IPoE). Connected users obtain IP addresses using DHCP and get online. The NE80E version is V300R006C01SPC003, and LPUK is used.
When more than 12K IPoE users connect to the NE80E, some users cannot obtain IP addresses or get online.
The following alarm is generated:
NE80E %%01STAT/4/STATIDUSEDUP(l):Slot=11;StatID of Inbound MSE Stat in slot 11 is exhausted.
1. Log in to the ME80E to check logs
and check the reason of the failure in getting online. The message "Online fail reason : MSEADA with user added fail " is displayed. Users fail to get online because resources on the NE80E are exhausted.
2. Check the number of MSE statistics IDs in a slot of the LPU from which users attempt to get online. The LPU in this slot supports access from 12K users, which are used up.

Each LPUK on the NE80E of V3R6 supports access from only 12K IPoE users.
There are limitations on IPoE access users on the NE80E/NE40E enabled with IPoE. The specification is relevant to the device version and card type.
1. V300R006 and V600R001: All cards allow a maximum of 16K IPoE access users. When QoS is not configured, the LPUK allows only 12K DHCP users, and the remaining 4K specification is reserved for QoS users. After the specification is exceeded, new users cannot go online.
2. V600R003: LPUF-21 and LPUF-40 support IPoE, and 32K IPoE access users per slot. Old LPUA, LPUG, and LPUB do not support IPoE access.
In the site where IPoE is used and there are many access users, periodically check for the number of users. If the number of users exeeds the specification, services may be interrupted.
