Issue Description

How does an IPv6 user table entry display the address configure protocol and information configure protocol?

Version: V600R005
Handling Process
N/A
Root Cause
N/A
Solution

1. A user table entry is displayed as follows if the user goes online in DHCP IANA+IAPD mode and obtains an IPv6 address:

[BAS_LMT02]dis access-user user-id 2
  -------------------------------------------------------------------
  User access index             : 2
  State                         : Used
  User name                     : BAS_LMT02-08110010000000@hw
  Domain name                   : hw
  User backup state             : No
  User access interface         : GigabitEthernet8/1/10.2
  User access PeVlan/CeVlan     : 100/-
  User MAC                      : 0000-0055-0001
  User IPv6 Address             : 2013::2/128
  User IPv6 PD Prefix           : 2012::/64
  IPv6 DUID                     : 00030001000000550001
  User Authen IP Type           : ipv4/ipv6/ipv6-pd
  User Basic IP Type            : -/-/-
  Address Configiure Protocol   : DHCPv6
  Information Configiure Protocol : DHCPv6

2. A user table entry is displayed as follows if the user goes online in DHCP IAPD mode and obtains a PD address:

<ROCME6001>dis access-user user 131888
 -------------------------------------------------------------------
 User access index             : 131888
 State                         : Used
 User name                     : BDK-MA5600T-02 xpon 0/1/0/4:15.2.1103@hsi.d
 Domain name                   : hsi.d
 User backup state             : No
 User access interface         : Eth-Trunk43.14
 User access PeVlan/CeVlan     : 1103/642
 User MAC                      : c8d7-19f0-4c8e
 User IPv6 PD Prefix           : 2401:7400:C800:30D::/64
 IPv6 DUID                     : 00030001C8D719F04C8D
 User IPv6 Primary-DNS         : 2401:7400:801:3::50
 User IPv6 Secondary-DNS       : 2401:7400:801:2::46
 User Authen IP Type           : ipv4/ipv6/ipv6-pd
 User Basic IP Type            : -/-/-
 User IPv6 lease               : 2013-04-29 20:24:18---2013-05-02 20:24:18
 Access start time             : 2013-04-29 20:24:18
 Accounting start time         : 2013-04-29 20:24:18
 Online time (h:min:sec)       : 25:16:52

3. A user table entry is displayed as follows if the user goes online in DHCP ND+ IAPD mode and obtains an ND prefix:

[BAS_LMT02]dis access-user user-id 3
  -------------------------------------------------------------------
  User access index             : 3
  State                         : Used
  User name                     : BAS_LMT02-08110010000000@hw
  Domain name                   : hw
  User backup state             : No
  User access interface         : GigabitEthernet8/1/10.2
  User access PeVlan/CeVlan     : 100/-
  User MAC                      : 0000-0055-0001
  User IPv6 NDRA Prefix         : 2013::/64
  User IPv6 PD Prefix           : 2012::/64
  IPv6 DUID                     : 00030001000000550001
  User Authen IP Type           : ipv4/ipv6/ipv6-pd
  User Basic IP Type            : -/-/-
  Address Configiure Protocol   : NDRA
  Information Configiure Protocol : DHCPv6

Information about the address configure protocol and information configure protocol is displayed based on whether a user obtains an IPv6 address through IANA and ND application. If the user obtains an IPv6 address, information about the address configure protocol is displayed based the value M configured on the device and information about the information configure protocol is displayed on the value O configured on the device.

For a DHCP user, the value M is determined by the interface configuration command ipv6 nd autoconfig managed-address-flag. For a PPP user, the value M is determined by the domain configuration command ipv6 nd autoconfig managed-address-flag. If the command is configured, M = 1, indicating that the client obtains an IPv6 address using a stateful protocol, such as DHCPv6. If the command is not configured, M = 0, indicating that the client obtains an IPv6 address using a stateless protocol such as ND.

The information configuration protocol is determined by the domain configuration command ipv6 nd autoconfig other-flag {ndra |dhcpv6}. If ndra is configured, a stateless protocol, such as ND, is used to obtain other configuration information. If dhcpv6 is configured, a stateful protocol, such as DHCPv6, is used to obtain other configuration information, including information about the DNS and SIP servers.
