Load Sharing Among Three Tunnels Was Unbalanced

Issue Description

Three ports on NE40E 1 (NE 1) and three ports on NE40E 2 (NE 2) were connected. Each link was configured with a TE tunnel. NE1 and NE2 were LDP over TE peers.

When load was shared among three tunnels, traffic distribution was uneven. When load was shared between two tunnels, traffic distribution was relatively even.

Root Cause
Hash-based load-sharing was implemented based on the source IP and sink IP.
Solution

a. Replace the K board with a 2800 board that implements 5-tuple based hashing (load-sharing based on the source IP, sink IP, source port ID, sink port ID, and protocol ID).

b. After upgrading the NEs to V600R001, replace the K board with an LPUF-41 board that implements 5-tuple based hashing (load-sharing based on the source IP, sink IP, source port ID, sink port ID, and protocol ID).

c. Modify the traffic model. To be specific, scatter traffic across more IP addresses.
