Issue about interfaces on V6R1 CR52EEGFN subcard of CX-600 receive RxPause frame

From the output of diagnostic command, the RxPause count increase here is about the Pause frame from internal logical module to X11 module.Assessment methods are as follows:

Root Cause

The logic cache of this version is light, To send pause frame according to the frequency deviation and flow model,there will be more or less. This is normal for logical flow control implementation, no service affected without modification.

Solution

This is normal for logical flow control implementation and does not affect service, it doesn't need to be changed. Upgrade to V600R003C00SPCA00 version and later versions can basically resolve this problem, these versions' logical buffer have been expanded.

Suggestions

There're two possibilities when ports receive RxPause frame:

  1. The real traffic is heavy and the peer device send the pause frame;
  2. Pause frame between modules inside of the device

you should consider the second option to be the most possible one if the traffic isn't heavy and troubleshooting the inside of device.
