【Problem Summary】 The problem for the cpu usage high in slot 4 and 5
【Problem Details】
Handling Process
1.Check the task of board which have the high CPU usage. Found the high CPU usage tasks are MSE, POXR SPMT POXS.

2.The analysis of task:
MSE: ME60 BRAS process flow of business software, the statistic of user traffic;
SPMT: ME60 BRAS process flow of access user dial up;
POXR: POXS: PPPoE user dial up process flow and online user detection.

Moreover, For the high usage (15%) of SQOS task, due to deploy the DAA services, the device need to do the traffic statistics for the DAA users and occopy some CPU usage, but it is not the key point of the CPU problem.

3. Base on the analysis of above, can be basically confirmed that the reason of CPU problem caused by lots of PPP user dial up in same time.

4. Config the punish of PPP fast dail up, the CPU usage of board is reduced.

Check the PPP connection-chasten, there are 37 users dialing repeatedly

5. The next day, the CPU usage of device rises again. Check the CPU usage found the phenomenon is same as before.

Check the user offline situation, found massive user goes online successfully, and then apply offline immediately.

The command of 'PPP connection chasten' will punish the PPP user who fail athentication many times in the short time. but After user authentication is successful and offline by themself will not be punished.


Therefore add the fast dial offline punishment command 'PPP connection chasten 3 30 300 quickoffline' . And then the CPU usage of device reduced to the normal.

Root Cause
There are some PPP user offlin immediately after dail up successfully in the 4 and 5 Slot of device. and the relate tasks of PPP user dailing occupy lots of CPU.
Solution
Solution: Configure ppp punish command 'ppp connection chasten 3 30 300 quickoffline'
