Handling Process
When commands are run to load a license file and during the device operation, the ME60 checks the license file. The check result may be one of the following:
1. Failure: If the format of the license file is incorrect, a failure message is displayed. If the format of the license file is correct but the ESN and Sign do not match, the license file is invalid, and as a result, the system fails to load the license file.
2. Partial success: In the license file, the ESN and Sign match, but the ESN in the license file does not match the ESN of the device. In this case, the license file is valid but it is not the file applicable to the local device. There is a 90-day trial period for this license file from the time the file is activated. After that period of time, the license file cannot be used.
3. Total success: In the license file, the ESN and Sign match, and the ESN in the license file matches the ESN of the device. In this case, the license file is valid and applicable.
