Handling Process
  • Cause one: The entered user name and password are incorrect.

Contact the administrator of the virtual gateway to obtain the correct user name and password.

  • Cause two: The user or group filtering field is incorrectly configured.

    1. Log in to the Web-based NMS, and then click Authentication and Authorization Configuration in the Virtual Gateway List navigation tree. Click the Authentication and Authorization Server Configuration tab.
    2. Check the configuration of the user or group filtering field on the corresponding authentication and authorization server, and make sure that the configuration is correct.

  • Cause three: The certificate filtering filed is incorrectly configured.

    1. Log in to the Web-based NMS, and then click Authentication and Authorization Configuration in the Virtual Gateway List navigation tree. Click the Certification Configuration tab.
    2. If the certificate authentication is adopted, check the configuration of the certificate group filtering filed or certificate user filtering field and make sure that the configuration is correct.

  • Cause four: The system time and time zone of the AD server are inconsistent with that of the SVN3000.

Since the AD authentication is time-sensitive, make sure that the system time and time zone of the AD server are consistent with that of the SVN3000; otherwise, the authentication fails.

  • Cause five: The time difference between the SecurID token and the SecurID server is larger than the set value.

The time difference between the SecurID token and the SecurID server is set on the SecurID server. If the actual time difference is larger than the set value, the authentication fails.
