After the firmware upgrade of the device, the KVM fails to be connected, as shown in Figure 2-13. Figure 1-1 The KVM fails to be connected
Clear the configuration data about Java from the cache.
1. In Windows of the PC or server used for the upgrade, click Start > Control Panel > Java, and the Java Control Panel window is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-14. Figure 1-1 Java Control Panel
2. Click Settings, and the Temporary Files Settings window is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-15. Figure 1-2 Temporary Files Settings
3. Click Delete Files, and the Delete Temporary Files window is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-16. Figure 1-3 Delete Temporary Files
4. Click OK to delete temporary files.
5. Re-connect the KVM.
After the firmware upgrade, the configuration data of Java in the cache is not updated. As a result, the KVM fails to be connected.
