The GUI of the VIS6000 displays a broken volume mirroring relationship.
1. Check whether the storage array has any fault.
If the storage array has a fault, remove the fault according to related instructions.
2. Check the status of the connection between the storage array and VIS6000.
Optical fiber connection
? Direct connection
Check that the link indicator of the FC service port is on.
? FC switch connection
Check that the VIS6000, storage array, and switch are connected in the same zone. For details, see documents related to the switch.
Network cable connection
Log in to the ISM interface to view whether the information about the array added to the VIS6000 is correct. Log in to the CLI, and run the vxping command to view whether the VIS6000 pings the storage array.
3. Log in to the GUI of the primary controller of the VIS6000, and restore the mirroring. For details, see Resuming a Mirror in the Oceanspace VIS6000 Series Virtual Intelligent Storage System Initial Configuration Guide.
Before restoring the mirroring, ensure that the storage array is running normally and that the VIS6000 and the storage array are connected properly.
4. If the fault persists, seek technical support.
