NVR Network Adapters Are Abnormal Because the NVRs Are Abnormally Powered Off

The environment is powered off abnormally. Two of the 10 NVRs are in offline state after startup, and cannot be logged in to from a client.

Handling Process
Because the two NVRs cannot be pinged, the following steps need to be performed onsite.
The default user name is root and default password is 123456.
Use the YaST tool to delete the configuration of all network adapters and reconfigure their IP addresses.
1.         On the CLI, run the yast2 lan command.
The Network Setup Method page is displayed.

l      On the GUI of the client, you can press Ctrl Alt F2 to enter the CLI.

l      You can also choose Computer>  > Yast to run the YaST tool.

2.         On the Network Setup Method page, press Enter.

The Network Card Configuration Overview page is displayed.

3.         Enter Network Card Configuration Overview, and delete the configuration of all network adapters.

After the deletion, the status of IP Address is Not configured.

When using YaST, you can press Tab to select areas, Enter to confirm your selection, up and down buttons to select items in an area, and Esc to cancel your selection.

4.         After the deletion, select Edit.

The Network Address Setup page is displayed.

5.         On the Network Address Setup page, reconfigure the IP addresses, subnet masks, and default gateways for the service network adapters.

l           Under Ethernet, select Static Address Setup.

l           Under IP Address, enter an IP address for the service network adapter.

l           Under Subnet Mask, enter a subnet mask for the service network adapter.

l           Select Routing. In the Default Gateway of the Routing Configuration page, enter the IP address of the default route.

6.         Click Next. The configuration is complete.

Root Cause
Cause analysis:
1.         Ping the two offline NVRs.
They cannot be pinged.
The environment is abnormally powered off, which causes that the network on which the NVRs reside is faulty.
