Issue Description

The power running/alarm indicators of power modules are in orange to report alarms.

Alarm Information
None
Handling Process

• If only the indicator of a power module is in orange, the indicators of the other power modules are in green, and the V1300N works normally, you can unplug and plug the power module whose indicator is in orange. If the indicator is still in orange, replace the power module.
• If the running/alarm indicators of all power modules are in orange, it indicates that the V1300N is short-circuited internally. In this case, unplug the 220V power cables of all power modules of the V1300N, and contact technical support engineers of HuaweiSymantec.
 CAUTION:
In this case, do not power on the V1300N by pressing the power switch again.
• To perform further analysis, obtain log and alarm information through IPMI commands.
 NOTE:
For details, see the operation guide to the IPMI tool.

Root Cause

• Power modules are faulty. Therefore, the corresponding indicators are always in orange.
• Power modules are protected upon too large current, too high temperature or short circuit. Therefore, the corresponding indicators are always in orange.
• The V1300N is faulty.

Suggestions

If the running/alarm indicators of all power modules are in orange, it indicates that the V1300N is short-circuited internally. Do not press the power switch for power-on again.
