Handling Process

• The troubleshooting process in the case that the database is already started is as follows:
    1. Connect to the NVR server through the SSH client tool.
    2. Run the ps -ef | grep mysqld command to check whether the mysqld process is running. If yes, the database does not need to be started again.
• The troubleshooting process in the case that the permission to the directory that stores the database is incorrect is as follows:
    1. Connect to the NVR server through the SSH client tool.
    2. Run the cd /hinvs/mysql/bin command to access the /hinvs/mysql/bin directory.
    3. Run the ll mysqld_safe command to check whether this script file already has the execute permission (the 'x' letter is set) for it's owner. if not, run the chmod +x mysqld_safe command to add the execution permission to it.

Root Cause

• The database is already started.
• The permission to the directory that stores the database is incorrect.

Suggestions

Generally, the database can be started successfully, unless the permission to the directory that stores the database is modified manually.
