How to Troubleshoot the Fault that Historical Videos Fail to be Queried and Invoked?

Issue Description
Even though the video surveillance debugging is complete and the camera can record videos properly, the videos recorded at an earlier time fail to be queried and invoked as it is prompted that no video exists in this period, as shown in the following:

Handling Process
You can troubleshoot the fault caused by the previous causes as follows:
Step 1  Verify that the camera is compatible with Huawei Symantec devices.
Step 2  Verify that the camera can record videos properly.
Step 3  Verify that the correct recording policy is sent to the camera.
Step 4  Set and send the recording policy to the camera as follows:
  1. Create the recording policy and select the camera of the recording policy. Create the recording policy first. Go to the recording policy management page of the ESM service menu to add a new recording policy, as shown in the following:

  1. Go to the page that shows the details about the created recording page, and select the camera that will record videos according to this recording policy. The recording policy is applied successfully, as shown in the following:

  1. You can also send the recording policy as follows:
  1. Go to the device resource management page of the resource menu.
  2. Go to the page for setting the recording policies of the camera from the navigation tree.
  3. Add the recording policy to the recording policy list of the camera, as shown in the following:

Step 5  Click OK to record videos. Then, after a while, query and invoke the videos recorded by the camera.
 
Root Cause
  1. The recording policy is not specified for this camera.
  2. The recording policy is not sent to this camera.
