Rights of user root fail to be enabled during host configuration
1. Check the username and password for logging in to the system. If username gandalf and the password of user gandalf are used but the login fails, the host management IP address is incorrect. In this case, enter a correct management IP address.
2. Run the ifconfig ethX down command to disable network interface cards (NICs) in the BMC remote control window and check whether the management IP address can be used to log in to the system. If yes, the management IP address already exists. In this case, configure another available IP address for the host.
3. Run the service monitord status command on the host to check whether any monitord service is available on the host. If not, the host OS is not that of FusionCompute. In this case, install the FusionCompute OS for the host.
1. The management IP address is incorrect. For example, the baseboard management controller (BMC) IP address may be frequently entered as the management IP address by mistake.
2. The management IP address of the host already exists.
3. The OS configured for the host is different from that of FusionCompute.
4. The FusionCompute installation tool is used on different disks for many times. For example, the FusionCompute installation tool is used in drive D to install VRM services in the D:\CloudComponent directory, and then used in drive C to deploy the FusionCompute environment. As a result, no CloudComponent directory is available in the root directory of drive C.
