Issue Description
The audible and visual alarm does not generate an alarm when alarm conditions are triggered, what should be done?
Solution
Possible Causes:
1) The audible and visual alarm is faulty.
2) The circuit is abnormal.

Procedure:

Step 1 Check whether the audible and visual alarm is faulty.

Use a multimeter to measure the voltages at both ends (DC 24 V+ and DC 24 V-) of the cable to the audible and visual alarm and check whether the voltages are normal.

Y: If the voltages are normal, the audible and visual alarm is faulty. Replace the audible and visual alarm and check whether the fault persists.
If the fault is rectified, troubleshooting is complete.
If the fault persists, go to Step 2.
N: If the voltage are abnormal, the audible and visual alarm is functional, and the fault persists. Go to Step 2.

Step 2 Check whether the audible and visual alarm is connected to the skylight ceiling controller properly.

Use a multimeter to check the audible and visual alarm for short circuits or disconnection section by section.

Y: If the circuit is faulty, replace the circuit and check whether the fault persists.
Y: If the fault is rectified, troubleshooting is complete.
N: If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support.
N: If the circuit is normal but the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support.
