By default, the baud rate of a synchronous serial interface is 64000 bit/s.
You can set the baud rate or virtual baud rate for a synchronous serial interface using commands based on the cable type and networking requirements.
When the AR functions as the DTE:
Run the virtualbaudrate baudrate command to set the virtual baud rate for the synchronous serial interface.
Ensure that the virtual baud rate is the same as the baud rate of the peer device (DCE). Otherwise, packets are discarded.
When the AR functions as the DCE:
Run the baudrate baudrate command to set the baud rate for the synchronous serial interface.
