What Can I Do If Interfaces on the PPPoE Client Side Go Up and Down Frequently?
This is caused by the IP address assigned by the Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) server is same as the IP address of another interface on the client side.
The causes are as follows:
The IP address assigned by the PPPoE server is the same as the IP address of another port on the client.
Solution: Change the conflicted port IP address on the client or run the remote address command to change the port IP address of the client on the server.
All the addresses in the address pool on the PPPoE server have been assigned to clients.
Solution: Run the network (IP address pool view) command in the IP address pool view to increase the number of IP addresses in the IP address pool.
