Agent Server and MCP Share the ICDComm

Publication Date:  2015-06-30 Views:  587 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
When the Agent Server and the MCP share the ICDComm that is deployed on the CTI platform, the Agent Client web page cannot be opened. After you run the ps -ef|grep java command on the Agent Server as the elpis user, the Tomcat process is not displayed.
Handling Process
1. Log in to the Agent Server as the root user.
2. Use the vi editor to open the /etc/amonit.json file and delete the ICDComm monitoring configurations that are marked in bold in the following information:
{
"services": [
    {"name" : "AgentGateway0",
     "matching" : "/home/elpis/tomcat7",
     "user" : "elpis",
     "start_program" : "su - elpis -c /home/elpis/tomcat7/bin/startup.sh",
     "stop_program" : "su - elpis -c /home/elpis/tomcat7/bin/shutdown.sh"},
    {"name" : "ElpisIcdcomm",
     "matching" : "icdcomm",
     "user" : "elpis",
     "start_program" : "su - elpis -c /home/elpis/script/startup.sh",
     "stop_program" : "su - elpis -c /home/elpis/tomcat7/bin/shutdown.sh"}
]
}
3. Restart the Amonit.
Root Cause
When the Agent Server and the MCP share the ICDComm deployed on the CTI platform, the Amonit that is deployed on the Agent Server cannot detect the ICDComm process. Therefore, the Tomcat on the Agent Server is stopped.
