Some eSpace U1980 Users Cannot Make Calls

Publication Date:  2015-07-14 Views:  354 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
After configuring the VoIP Domain Call Restriction function, some eSpace U1980 users cannot make calls. No matter what calls they make, an announcement is played, indicating that the number of call channels supported by the eSpace U1980 reaches the maximum.
Handling Process
Step 1 Run the show subscriber dn xxx command to check the home subpbxno and voipdomain of the user.

Step 2 Run the show subpbx command and ensure that the value of MaxTkcCount for the home sub PBX of the user is not 0.

Step 3 Run the show voipdomain command to check whether the value of maxcallnum for the voipdomain parameter is 0. Value 0 indicates that the VoIP domain does not have the right to make calls.

Step 4 Run the config modify voipdomain id 0 maxcallnum 100 command to assign the call rights to the VoIP domain.

Step 5 Ask the user to make a call. The call is successful. No call channel limitation announcement is played any more. The fault is rectified.

Root Cause
  • The number of concurrent calls processed by the home sub PBX of a user reaches the maximum.
  • The VoIP domain is incorrectly configured.
