After the telepresence system is powered on, the Huawei logo instead of the local camera video feed is displayed on one of the HD displays.
Step 1 Log in to the telepresence host web interface. Check whether the problematic codec is disconnected from the telepresence host.
If the codec is disconnected from the telepresence host, go to step 2.
If the codec is correctly connected to the telepresence host, go to step 4.
Step 2 Run ping 192.168.1.1, where 192.168.1.1 is the default codec IP address.
If the ping operation fails, restore the problematic codec to its default settings. Run ping 192.168.1.1 again to check that the restoration is successful.
If the ping operation succeeds, the codec has been restored to its default settings.
Step 3 Export the configuration file from another codec and import the file into the problematic codec. Then configure the problematic codec according to the commissioning guide for the telepresence system.
Step 4 Telnet to the problematic codec. Run config savestartupView switch:0 to set the startup screen to video.
The codec corresponding to the HD display has been restored to its default settings.
The startup screen is set to display a static picture.
