"License is expired" error message

Issue Description

We have the following scenario:

 - TE30 endpoint with  TEX0 V100R001C10SPC600 firmware version installed

- Demo license generated for customer with 1 month validity (containing miniMCU feature for test purposes)

Whenever trying to uploade the license file the following error ocurred:

Handling Process

The following steps were followed in order to solve this issue:

1. Checked the validity of the demo license (the file can be opened using Notepad) as per below screenshot:

2. Checked the date onto the endpoint.

Root Cause
The date onto the endpoint was wrong - as it was manually set and a NTP server was not used for the time synchronization.
Solution

Change the date onto the endpoint according to reflect the reality (System Settings -> General -> Time and Time zone):

 

 

 

Suggestions
NTP synchronization can be used to avoid issues with the time/date onto the device
