Issue Description
How to determine whether the underlying link of the storage system is unstable?
Solution
You can view the statistics of error codes of the storage system on the ISM interface to determine whether the service link is unstable. The procedure is as follows:
1. Log in to the ISM, expand the storage device, and select Settings. Click Bit Error Statistics in the function pane. The Bit Error Statistics dialog box is displayed.
2. In the Port Type drop-down list box, select the port on which the statistics of error codes is to be made.
3. View the information displayed in the group box. Use iSCSI host port as an example, view the statistics of Number of error packets, Number of Lost packets, and Number of overflowed packets in the table. If the statistics fluctuates fiercely, it indicates that the underlying link is unstable.
