When the hosted backup function is used by the VTL3500, the robot and the driver are in the
Missing status after the OS on the VTL3500 is restarted; therefore, the backup fails.
Step 1 In the NBU console, choose Device > Robot and right-click Stop/Restart to restart the robot
service of the NBU.
Step 2 If the problem persists, contact Huawei Symantec technical support engineers.
If the robot service of the VTL3500 is started after the robot service of the NBU is started, the
VTL3500 cannot be scanned after the NBU is started.
