Symptoms:
After the URL of the NVR Controller http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8188 is entered from a browser, the message 403 Forbidden is displayed.

Handling Process

Run the chmod -x index.html command to cancel the execute permission of the page file.

Run the ll index.html command. If the execute permission has been canceled, the following output is displayed:

Root Cause
Cause analysis:
1.         Connect an SSH tool to the NVR.
The default user name is root and default password is 123456.
2.         Run the cd /hinvs/psm/www/chinese/ command to go to the directory in which the page file index.html is saved.
3.         Run the ll index.html command to check the execute permission of the page file.
If the page file has execute permission, the permission is x in the output.

Conclusion:
The NVR Controller page file has execute permission, which causes that the page cannot be displayed.

A 403 error indicates that the NVR Controller page file has execute permission.
