The Message "There is a problem with this website's security certificate" Is Displayed When You Attempt to Access the IPC Web Page

Applicable Models:
All IPC models.

Symptom:

When you enter the device IP address in the address box of Internet Explorer and press Enter, the message "There is a problem with this website's security certificate" is displayed.

Step 1 Click Continue to this website (not recommended), and continue to access the Web page.

Check whether the fault is rectified.

• If yes, no further operation is required.
• If no, go to Step 2.

Step 2 Upload your own certificate.

1. Choose Settings > System Configuration > Configuration Management.

The Configuration Management page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

2. Click Browse and select a file.

NOTE:
You can obtain the private certificate in either of the following ways:
 Purchase from an authoritative third-party certification organization.
 Establish a CA server.

3. Enter the private key in the displayed dialog box.

4. Click Upload to upload the certificate.

5. Restart Internet Explorer.

Step 3 Check whether the fault is rectified.

• If yes, no further operation is required.
• If no, contact your service provider for assistance.
