Issue Description

Customer changed the IP address.

After this he could login to iManager Neteco6000 V600R007C60 but he couldn’t access the PowerEcho.

Handling Process

Ask the customer the below info:

  1.   Reboot the server after changing  the  IP address.  if not then please reboot the server .

This should be done because after changing the IP, neteco restarts on powerecho (neteco will be ok) , but powerecho hasn’t restart so it needs to restarts the server.

 Customer reply:

He restarted powerecho after he changed the IP, but still cannot access it.

2.  Check if the IP address in the file is right. For this,  try the below command :

cd /opt/powerecho/jetty-powerecho/etc
vi jetty-sslengine.xml

  Customer reply:

The IP address didn’t change.

3.  Fix the IP address in the file. For this use the below cmd .  After run the cmd command  , restart powerecho:

cd /opt/powerecho/jetty-powerecho/etc
sed -i "s/xx.xx.xx.xx/yy.yy.yy.yy/g" jetty-sslengine.xml

xx.xx.xx.xx = old IP address

yy.yy.yy.yy = new IP address (after changing)

Solution

Fix the IP address in the file by using  the below cmd .  After run the cmd command , powerecho needed to be restart .

 cd /opt/powerecho/jetty-powerecho/etc
