Issue Description
What types of guide rails are delivered with devices and what are their usages?
Solution
Guide rails are classified according to:
• Support position
 Bottom support
Devices are borne by guide rail bottoms and cannot be fixed on the guide rails. L-shaped and adjustable guide rails belong to this type. L-shaped guide rails are pre-installed in the SC611-20 cabinet.
 Side support
Devices are borne by guide rail sides and can be fixed on the guide rails. Such guide rails are usually delivered together with file engine nodes. They are suitable for a SC600-20 cabinet.

• Guide rail contractility
 Fixed-length guide rails
Such guide rails must be installed in a matching cabinet. L-shaped guide rails belong to this type.
 Adjustable guild rails
The length of the adjustable guide rail ranges from 600 mm to 900 mm. The adjustable guide rail can be installed in a cabinet with a depth of 800 mm to 1100 mm.

• Device height
 Non-standard guide rails
They are a special type of L-shaped guide rails. The support surface of non-standard guide rails is 2 mm lower than a standard unit (U) marking. It means that compared with standard guide rails, non-standard guide rails occupy extra 1-U space below the U marking to ensure a sufficient space for a device.
 Standard guide rails

They are a special type of L-shaped guide rails. The horizontal center line of the support surface of standard guide rails is aligned with the U marking.
