Publication Date:  2012-07-17 Views:  119 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
After the eLog is deployed, all logs except session logs can be reported normally.
Alarm Information
Handling Process
1. Ping Telnet ports one by one. The USG9100 can be accessed normally. Since other logs can be reported normally, the network fault is ruled out.
2. Check the firewall configuration. The session report function is incorrectly configured.
Configure the USG9110-A] firewall session log-type binary host 1 9002 command on the firewall. Therefore, session logs cannot be reported. Add the USG9110-B] firewall session log-type binary source 9003 on the firewall. The fault is rectified.
Compared with mid-range and low-end firewalls, the local IP address and port number of the firewall for sending session logs must be specified on the USG9110.
Root Cause
1. The network fault occurs.
2. The session function is incorrectly configured on the firewall.
