One day of April 2011 received customer reported terminal security system appeared part of the clients can't authenticate, hints "has no enough permission quantity".
Login the backup Server, check the "start>program>HuaweiSymantec>TSM Server > ServerConfigSetting". Find the SM IP address truly is the host address "192.X.X.171", after changed it to real SM server address "192. X.X. 170", restart the server. Authenticate again, problem is solved.
After the view the terminal which appeared problem onsite, found that the connection server address is the backup server address. Through multiple verify onsite, the backup server (192. X.X. 171) really appeared the problem. Emergency checked the server logs, there was a abnormal log. As follows:
“2011-04-25 09:06:52,718 -com.huaweisymantec.secospace.sc.remote.SecospaceControllerImpl ERROR - SC(192.168.6.171) Connect to SM(192.X.X.171) failed”
According to this log we got that, when this backup server connects to the SM server, the connection address is still the host, but the real SM server address is 192.X.X.170.
Through communicated with the customer, we got that the backup server has been reinstalled for operating system fault at the former night. So it may be caused by the filled in SM IP address is wrong when reinstalling the backup SC server.
