What is the wire sequence of the 120-ohm E1 cable of an RJ45 connector?
The 120-ohm E1 cable of an RJ45 connector delivered with the E1/CE1 board of an NE40 looks like a network cable with RJ45 connectors used at both ends. One end of the cable needs to be cut off on site (for deployment or capacity expansion) before the cable is connected to the DDF. Therefore, the wire sequence of the cable is needed. Take the cable with a BOM of 04040493 as an example. Starting from the RJ45 connector, the colors of the wires are 1 (White), 2 (Blue), 3 (Orange), 4 (White) , 5 (Green) , and 6 (Brown) from left to right. The corresponding wire sequence is Tx Tip, Tx Ring, Tx Shield, Rx Tip, Rx Ring, and Rx Shield. In wire bonding, simply connect wires 1, 2, and 4, 5 to the DDF.
