Issue Description
The RH2285 server cannot be started. Log in to the BMC and check the BMC or IPMI logs. Battery failed is found in the displayed information
Alarm Information
none
Handling Process
Open the cabinet cover and reinstall the BBU of the RAID card. Note that the blue identifiers of the D-shaped connector of the BBU must be flush.
If the BBU is damaged and cannot be replaced immediately onsite, and services need to run properly or key data needs to be backed up, remove the BBU and change the RAID card attribute in WEBBIOS to write through. However, it is not recommended for a long term.
Root Cause
To configure the BBU for LSI1068E or other RAID cards, ensure that the BBU is installed properly. Otherwise, the POST self-check cannot be passed when anomalies are detected. As a result, the server cannot be started. For details on the alarm, see the attachment.

Suggestions
Install the RAID card in position and connect the BBU properly. Ensure that the system is started normally.
