The N8500 in a Hangzhou office has 12 nodes. Certain file systems cannot be accessed.
In NFS mode, user master runs the share show command to check the file systems. It is found that the NFS service of the file systems is abnormal.
Step 1 Log in as user support and troubleshoot the file system faults. >echo "8192B.p S" | fsdb -t vxfs /dev/vx/rdsk/sfsdg/fs_name |grep flag
Check the row that outputs the flag value. In normal cases, the flag value is 0 or 4000. When the last digit of the flag value is 1, the fsck command is required. In this case, contact R&D engineers immediately.
Step 2 If the flag value is 0 or 4000, the file system is normal. Log in as user master and run the following command in the support mode to rectify the fault: support>services autofix nfs>server start
Enter the NFS mode and run the share show command. The file system restores to normal.
Usually, if the NFS service is abnormal, the file systems are abnormal. You need to troubleshoot the file system faults and then NFS server faults. In this office, the file systems are normal and therefore the NFS service is abnormal.
