Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
  • Cause one: The number of users reaches the upper limit.

    1. Log in to the Web-based NMS, and then click the name of the virtual gateway in the Virtual Gateway List navigation tree. View Maximal concurrent user number.
    2. Click In-service Monitoring in the Virtual Gateway List navigation tree. View Maximal concurrent user number.
    3. If the value of Maximal concurrent user number is equal to that of Total online users, it indicates that the number of online users reaches the upper limit.
    4. In this case, the user can log in later.
       NOTE:
If the phenomenon occurs frequently, it indicates that the number of online users is larger than the specified maximum number of concurrent users. It is recommended that the administrator of the virtual gateway increase Maximal concurrent user number.

  • Cause two: The session timeout time is too long when one account is allowed to be used for logins from several places at the same time.

When one account is used for logins from several places at the same time, you need to shorten the Timeout duration of session of the user. For example, the default value can be adopted. Otherwise, if a user cannot log out due to timeout and thus occupies a large number of online user resources, other users cannot log in normally.

    1. Log in to the Web-based NMS, and then click SSL Configuration in the Virtual Gateway List navigation tree.
    2. Set Timeout duration of session to the default value, namely, 5 minutes.

Root Cause
