Issue Description
The file sharing service is enabled on the virtual gateway and the shared file resource is specified. When a user accesses the shared resource after logging in to the virtual gateway, the prompt "Access failed. You may not have the correct permissions." is displayed

Handling Process
  • Cause one: The entered user name and password are incorrect.

    To access the shared SMB resource, you need to log in. Make sure that the user name and password are correct. If the user name or password is lost, contact the administrator of the file server.

  • Cause two: The user has no access permissions for the shared directory.

     

    If the file sharing resource is of the SMB type, it indicates that the user does not have the read permission. Contact the administrator of the file server for the access permissions for the shared directory.

    If the file sharing resource is of the NFS type, it indicates that the attribute of the UID or GID does not allows user's access to the file sharing resource. Contact the administrator of the file server to change the UID or GID to the UID or GID that has the read permission on the directory.

Cause two: The user has no access permissions for the shared directory.
