Publication Date:  2012-07-20 Views:  73 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
When a user was adding the virtual gateway on the SVN3000, a message was displayed stating "IP address and port conflict." See the figure.
Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
1.      Check the configuration of other devices in the network. None has an IP address that conflicts with that of the SVN3000.
2.      Check the configuration of the SVN3000. The IP address of the Web management port is the same as that of the virtual gateway. The port is the default port 443.
3     Run the web-manager ip X.X.X..X port XX command to change the Web management port. Then add the virtual gateway. The operation succeeds.
Root Cause
The possible causes are as follows:
1.      The IP address of the SVN3000 conflicts with that of another device in the network.
2.   The port of the virtual gateway conflicts with that of another application program.
Suggestions
The Web management port of the SVN3000 uses port 443 by default. If the Web management port is the same as the port of the virtual gateway, you are recommended to change the Web management port. Or use another IP address for the Web management port.
