Issue Description
A customer engineer consulted that the S2300 storage system delivered to the deployment site consisted of only one controller enclosure and eight hard disks, and why slots 0 to 3 of the controller enclosure must be occupied by hard disks?

Handling Process
The system configuration data of the S2300 controller enclosure is stored on the coffer disks, that is, hard disks in slots 0 to 3. Furthermore, when a power failure occurs to the S2300 storage system, the battery modules provide power for its controller enclosure, and then cache data is flushed on to the coffer disks within two minutes. Therefore, during the deployment, hard disks must be inserted in slots 0 to 3 of the controller enclosure.
Root Cause
Besides the system data stored in coffer disks, the S2300 controller enclosure also provides capacity for storage data. Do not remove, insert, or change the location of coffer disks randomly; otherwise, the system data may be damaged. Furthermore, coffer disks cannot be used as hot spare disks.
